This unique house on the edge of Norman, Oklahoma is known to most as the prairie chicken house. Designed by Herb Greene in 1960, he preferred to call it simply the Prairie House .  Thanks to the  Prairie House Preservation Society  (PHPS) it is now possible for the public to experience one of Oklahoma's most unusual architectural treasures. 

Amid the hustle and bustle of Tulsa's busy intersection of 61st and Yale is a quiet oasis. No, it's not the Pepto Palace. It's a little known park-like area behind Warren Place .  A walking trail in the shadow of the Doubletree Hotel winds through trees, green grass and geometric concrete. The short walk offers a relaxing break from the traffic and sprawl that's just yards away.
